Winter: Tuesday Evening 5-wk Clay Class

This 5-week clay class will cover a variety clay making skills! Students will learn methods of forming clay from wheel throwing skills (centering, pulling, and forming) to hand-building techniques (pinch, slab, coil, carving) and wedging, managing clay, and glazing. The class's direction and progression will adapt to student interests and needs; students may focus on sculpture or pottery forms. All skill levels are welcome; ages 16+.
Basic clay tools are provided (you are welcome to bring your own). Cost of clay includes glazing and firing cost and can be purchased separately (25lbs/bag). Please bring your own apron.
