Are you passionate about ceramics and looking for an opportunity to contribute to a thriving ceramics studio? We are excited to announce a call for volunteers to join our ceramics studio team! As a volunteer, you'll have the chance to gain hands-on experience, learn new techniques, and be part of a creative community.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with studio maintenance, including cleaning, organizing tools and materials, and preparing clay.
Supporting the studio during open studio hours and acting as a point of contact with enrolled students.
Assisting with kiln loading and unloading, glazing, and firing processes.
Helping with administrative tasks such as inventory management and record keeping.
Participating in studio events, exhibitions, and community outreach programs.
Requirements:
Passion for ceramics and a desire to learn and grow in a creative environment.
Basic knowledge of ceramics techniques is preferred, but not required.
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
Reliable, responsible, and committed to the volunteer role.
Availability for a minimum of 2 hours per week (flexible schedules can be accommodated).
